I love it when they cry...

I know that sounds bad, but it really isn't. Canvas prints often make me cry. They are just so beautiful and seem to mean more somehow than a print on paper. I love the prints on paper, too. But canvas just takes it to another level for me.

In late January, I photographed an extended family who were in town to celebrate a very special 80th birthday. I could tell that the family genuinely loved each other - especially their matriarch. She cried when she saw the images on canvas. It just melted my heart!

Two of the family members purchased canvas collections to display in their homes. They loved them so much that they sent me a hand-written thank you card. Here's what they said... You can't believe how much we love not only the canvases, but the photos, too. They really reflect such personalities of everyone. The canvases look fabulous arranged on the wall - I stop and look at them each time I go by. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job!
